Part-time and full-time programmes - how they work

Part-time courses run over 16 weeks, but there may be breaks (for example during the Christmas period) meaning that the time from start to finish is longer. Sessions take place on Monday and Wednesday evenings and alternate Saturdays. Monday evening sessions are from 1800 - 2100 and on Wednesdays (when we have teaching practice) from 1800 - 2130. Saturdays run from 0900 - 1445. Trainees will also need to keep the Saturday after the course free for their Trinity moderation.

Full-time courses run over 4 weeks, Monday-Friday. Scheduling may vary, and there can be evening sessions, so you need to keep the whole period free of any other commitments. Moderation usually takes place on the last day of the course, possibly spilling over into the Saturday. Please keep the whole weekend at the end of the course free. Moderations are currently being done online.

Prices

Full-time Course: £1100

Part-time Course: £1250. The reason the part-time course is more expensive is that it is more complex logistically.

Please note there is also a Trinity moderation fee of £145, payable towards the end of the course.

There is a discount of 10% per person for joint enrolments (same course) on the course fee only (not the moderation fee).

Accommodation: £102/week for accommodation with one of our friendly local host families. You get your own room and you can help yourself to breakfast. No other meals are included.
