We are dedicated to helping you improve your English as much as possible while you are in England.
Our school is situated just 2 minutes from the famous Cathedral and Winchester High Street, where you will find cafés, pubs and lots of shops including Primark, Marks & Spencer as well as independent shops.
Classrooms are well-equipped and we have high-quality broadband.
Levels
We offer General English group courses for adults at these levels:
- Lower intermediate (A2/B1)
- Intermediate (B1/B2)
- Upper intermediate (B2/C1)
If you are a beginner (A1/A2) you can start your time with us doing some 1:1 classes and then move into a group. We don’t usually have group classes for beginners
The teaching programme
Classes are held from 0900-1300 Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute break from 1100-1130. This means you get 3.5 hours tuition each day, or 17.5 hours per week.
All of our courses give good general preparation for exam courses – for example IELTS, FCE, CAE at the relevant level.
You can top up your hours and individualise your course by adding some 1:1 classes in the afternoons. You can concentrate on one area, or 'mix and match'. Options include: Exam preparation, Business English, EAP (English for Academic Purposes) with different specialist teachers.
Our teachers are all qualified to teach English as a Foreign Language.
Courses start on Mondays
You can join the school any Monday.
