“We have a great team of teachers here at English Naturally. You can read about just some of them, below.”

Bobbie Winter

Bobbie has taught English in a variety of countries, including Brazil and Nicaragua in Latin America - and Spain and Ukraine in Europe. She has been teaching English for 15 years, and has taught children and adults, and a range of levels from complete beginners to advanced.

She is a very experienced teacher with particular expertise in teaching English for specific purposes. Her experience includes teaching English to tourist guides in a nature reserve (in Nicaragua), teaching business English to workers in multinational companies (in Ukraine) and teaching general English as an extra-curricular activity for school children (in Spain).

She enjoys meeting people from all walks of life, who share a passion for learning languages and learning about different cultures.

“It is rewarding helping somebody learn something new, or achieve a goal. I have studied foreign languages and so know what it's like being faced with a new grammar structure or vocabulary. I really enjoy helping English Naturally students with the challenges in language learning, and seeing them reap the rewards.”

Bobbie is soon to complete her masters degree in applied linguistics and TESOL.

Anne Wood

Anne‘s first degree was in Modern Languages from the University of Bristol. She later completed an MSc degree in Environmental Architecture and Energy studies as a mature student. After qualifying to teach English, she taught in her home city of Oxford before moving to France for a number of years.

She has been teaching for English Naturally in Winchester since 2008 and has taught many of our full-immersion students. She receives consistently excellent feed-back from her students, many of whom request her as their teacher when they return. Her aim is to encourage, motivate and inspire natural fluency in English.

“I thoroughly enjoy the challenges provided by teaching mature and motivated English Naturally students. I also find the contact with students from a wide range of countries very interesting and stimulating.”

In her spare time, Anne enjoys walking, cycling, keeping a productive vegetable garden and travelling to France as often as possible.

She is studying towards taking the Diploma in TESOL in 2015.

Thom Cromar

Thom started teaching English as a second language in 2005 when living in Hong Kong after completing his ITTT TEFL certificate.

He taught children as young as 3, groups of young professionals, Japanese business men and international students living or passing through Hong Kong.

The diversity of students in Hong Kong gave him fantastic experience and presented new and exciting challenges each day.

Thom also has a PGCE in Primary Education and teaches in English schools.

Thom has taught a variety of students at English Naturally and consistently receives excellent feedback.

“I thoroughly enjoy working with English Naturally and all the different students I teach.”
